A Joint Venture Company (JVC) of GAIL Gas Limited (a wholly owned subsidiary of GAIL India Limited) and Vadodara Municipal Seva Sadan (i.e., Vadodara Municipal Corporation) (VMC), was incorporated on September 13, 2013, to carry out the business of City Gas Distribution in the city of Vadodara and its adjoining areas. VGL started its operations on October 1, 2014.
The Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) has granted exclusive authorization to VGL for laying, building, or expanding the Vadodara District City-Gas Distribution Network until March 31, 2023, in Vadodara GA, including Vadodara and Chhotaudepur districts.
VGL provides safer, more convenient, economical, and environment-friendly fuel to every consumer segment, including households, commercial establishments, industries, and automobiles.
