General Instructions :

  • Candidates should be at least 21 years of age and not more than 45 years.
  • Initially, CTC Pay Bands to be offered for each position will be as per above Table. Any revision in CTC Pay Bands in future will be accordingly applicable in line with the company’s policy.
  • Only post-qualification experience shall be considered for determining eligibility & shortlisting.
  • Working during Management Trainee, a Graduate Engineer Trainee, and an Apprentice Trainee will also be considered as experience.
  • The selected candidate may be posted anywhere within the Vadodara Geographical Area (GA), comprising Vadodara District and Chhota Udeypur District.

  • Candidates should ensure that they fulfil the essential eligibility criteria for any of the above posts. Shortlisting & Selection Criteria :

  • Shortlisting of the applicants for Interview will be done based upon eligibility towards minimum educational qualification, minimum work experience and maximum age criteria as per the above details.
  • The number of candidates called for interview shall normally not exceed five (5) per vacancy. However, in the event of a large number of applications for any position, a minimum of five (5) and a maximum of fifteen (15) candidates per vacancy may be shortlisted for interview. In such cases, the shortlisting criteria may also take into account relevant experience in the Oil & Gas Sector, City Gas Distribution (CGD) Sector, other Hydrocarbon Sectors, or the Retail Distribution Sector, along with the number of years of experience in the respective sector.
  • All work experience will be counted post-qualification only. In case, the applicants fail to provide sufficient documentation in this regard, his/her candidature will be cancelled at any stage.
  • Results of the Selected applicants based upon the Merit List will be displayed in the website of VGL after conclusion of Interview process and Provisional Offer Letters will be issued to such selected candidates. In case, the selected candidate does not accept the offer/join the position within reasonable time-period, VGL may offer the position to the next candidate in the Merit List after webhosting the result.
  • Mere fulfilment of the eligibility criteria shall not confer any right upon the candidate to be called for interview or appointment.
